Book Summary: The Last Patriot

The Lincoln Memorial is critical to the plot, because it is first where all of the Intel and the enemy lines were discovered to have occurred. The first sent out Assassin was sent to the memorial to hack the database and recover the emails between Andrew Nichols and a Scholar who worked with the memorial, named Marwan Khalifa, about the location of a book that reveals a revolution. The memorial is targeted multiple times and is often related to, such as when Harvath and Nichols are searching for boxes with the Intel files, “No holes in the floor either, added Nichols” (Thor 302) represents that the building has caution of destruction. Another reason the CIA plods into the memorial is because there is a murder there. Twenty three year-old Nura Khalifa is attacked by men hiding in the bushes and killed shortly after she met with the suspect Andrew Salam. Andrew does not give any information on his girlfriend who was killed, because he was responsible for the tenor of the relationship. But it was clear that Dodds soldiers found the two at the memorial through the tracking of Andrew and his well-known DOC identity. The memorial is not left to repose, due to the damage that is caused to the interior, especially from a pulley system set up by assassins to trap an intruder, and is a great checkpoint of the case involving the Islamic
