Bromden POV The fog was at its worst today. Sometime between the Shock Stop and the showers, I remember fogging up, and fading out. After the fog had cleared, I found myself in the dayroom. I tried to remember whether I was brought to Seclusion or the shaving room. I concluded that I was put into Seclusion, but that I did not have breakfast. As I attempted to recall what happened this morning, I felt a sudden jerk in the gears. Then he came in. He was unlike any of the admissions here. He came in, refusing to shower. He states that he willingly came to the Combine to find new blood for his gambling. She can speed it up. The one thing that she can’t control is the fog. Time doesn’t mean anything; you’re just lost in the fog. The fog wasn’t on full blast today; not since McMurphy was hear. His singing in the latrine wakes everyone, and reminds me of my father, as he stood up against the government. Since McMurphy has gotten hear, the fog has lessened. The Big Nurse isn’t at her strongest anymore. I
