Brutus Attitudes In Julius Caesar
Brutus's wife, Portia, killed herself by swallowed hot coals because she was worried about Brutus absence, and about the fact that Octavius and Mark Antony have grown so strong. In return, Brutus responded in a stoically way to show that he is a good commander, doesn't easily get distracted by emotional feelings, and his duty to protect Rome is much more important than his wife death.
Brutus want to march his army to Philippi to face the triumvirate's army at Philippi, while Cassius want Brutus to let his troop stay input and wait for the triumvirate's army to come. Brutus won the argument, so Cassius have to give in with Brutus's plan.
Throughout this scene, I haven't change any opinions about any major characters, but I learned that Brutus
