Bud Not Buddy Sparknotes
In the book Bud not Buddy, we follow the story of a ten year old boy. He faces many challenges throughout his life, from losing his mom to becoming homeless. He has changed in many different ways. One way Bud transforms is that he trusts people more, especially adults, and that he doesn't lie anymore.

In the beginning of the book Bud was with the Amoses who were rude to him. He didn't trust them with his suitcase. In chapter 2 page 14 it says “They’d promised they’d keep it safe and not look at it. They tampered with his suitcase as he says on page 14 chapter 2 “They’d looked inside. I could

Bud, Not Buddy is a story loved by the nation, but if it was written in the Amos's perspective it would be a whole new book. If it was written in the Amos's perspective we would only know lies about Bud. Also, Bud would probably be known in a different way (because they don't like him very well.) Also, the book wouldn't be about Bud (So the title would be wrong.) So, if it was written in the Amos's perspective we wouldn't know what happened to Bud in the original story. To begin with, Bud,…

Many people, especially blacks, were mistreated in the 1930's. In the book, "Bud, Not Buddy", Bud may have had an easier life if race was not an issue. In the book, Bud is trying to find his long-lost grandfather. He goes many places to try and find him. Race is a disadvantage in the story because Bud is mistreated at some point and it affects how the story goes. Bud, Not Buddy would be a different book if race was not an issue because the white baby wouldn't be as sick, the band would not need…
