Relationship Building Plan

As a Christian educator it is my belief that students should be trained with Christian-like values that reflects a Godly character. When an educator teaches students the value of learning, while still remaining true to the walks of God it is an essential ingredient that allows beliefs, relationships, abilities and skills to flow together. “All teachers teach on the basis of their beliefs”. There is no way a teacher may educate students’ value-less but rather in the framework of what they believe. (McCullough, 2008, p. 20) It is my notion, that after learning all the concepts of teaching such as teacher roles, right/wrong and motivation etc, what bases or criteria we can hold it to without following the scripture that isn’t swayed or created by man.
Building Teacher-Student Relationships
Building relationships throughout our careers as Christian educators is extremely important to our professional development. There are four categories of relationships built in the education field, they are teacher-student, teacher- parent, teacher -administrator and teacher-teacher. To add, to teach successfully there is no other way around relationship building, honestly it is an essential part of the process. Most students and parents need a sense of strong comfort and safety when trusting educators to provide everything that is expected of them professionally and spiritually. Colleagues and Administrators value a strong community of networking, understanding and most importantly relationships to make the job load easier and ensuring the best interest of the students.
As a future educator it is my plan to foster and develop relationships with my students and train them to Christian-like learners and upstanding members of society. As a current educator I offer my warm, friendly, fun and firm personality to the classroom that has positively affected my
