Organizational Staffing Plan: Part 1
The purpose of a staffing plan is to provide the lending institution with the required staffing organizational plan for the start-up of a new small business. This plan will explain the major staffing areas planned for the new coffee shop and are based on approved human resource staffing principles. The managerial function of staffing includes manning the organization structure through proper and effective selection, appraisal and development of the personnel to fill the roles assigned to the employers/workforce. Staffing function is the most important managerial act along with planning, organizing, directing and controlling. The operations of these four functions depend upon the manpower which is available through staffing function.
Employment Relationships
Employment relationship describes the dynamic, interlocking economic, legal, social and psychological relations that exist between individuals and their work organizations. (Collins English Dictionary (2000)) I would have an open relationship with my workers. I would establish a relationship with my employees in a way that they would be able to come to me without hesitation. I want my employees to feel that they can use the open door policy with fair of retaliation. I will not have one employee do anything that another employee want be ask to do. In my company, I would address the social changes by being aware of the social, political, economic and technical changes and adjusting to the changes accordingly. As the owner of the company I will plan ahead to avoid shortages or surpluses. I recognize that people have difference.
