Nowadays, many people are willing to enter the world of business. Being a businessman is one of the best ways of challenging your capacity in managing and driving a business. The University of Luzon is yearly conducting its Foundation Week to celebrate its existence. One of the most expected activities is the “KALAKALAN” where an actual and hands on business will be built by the groups of college students. The “KALAKALAN” aims to determine the best group in selling and providing goods and services and a nice profit in return.
Before, this activity was only for Accountancy students and was not a competition. But as years passed by, the University of Luzon decided to make the activity as a competitive event during the Foundation Week. Now, not only the Accountancy Department but also the Business Administration and HRM-Tourism Department will join the activity.
“KALAKALAN” gives the students the opportunity to experience managing a business. The Accountancy Department gives the future business tycoons an opportunity to experience a 5-day business operation that will surely hone the knowledge and skills of every student in the operation of business.
Each student enrolled in Management 21 will be participating in this event that will form general groups to compete with. On the said event, there are fancy booth, foods, products, and services. There will be judges too. These judges will show and teach students about business.
Project Study can make the business have a good profit and it can help you to know the needs and demands of every customers. There are four (4) major aspects to be considered in making a project study or business plan. Management, Marketing, Production, and Financing aspects. This can help you to know everything about business, demands of customers, and business strategies.
