As Justinian came to rule. He tried to keep the dominant language Latin.He was most famous for implementing laws and rules throughout the city. In his rule he had many enemies he tried to gain control of Germanic nomads. He conquered many cities like the Vandal Kingdoms, Rome, and some of the Southern part of Spain and he also fought the Persians. Justinian was famous for his eye for architect he is best known for the Church of St Sophia and known for other art work pieces that are spread out throughout.(“A HISTORY OF THE BYZANTINE EMPIRE.”) The Byzantine Empire was very wishy washy in my opinion. They had many rulers. Also had many places that they called home for the empire. In my opinion they were out for blood more likely due to to all the enemies the acquired throughout their rule. In his rule they had many advances one of their main advances was Greek Fire it was a highly inflammable liquid they would soak cloth silk or anything in the liquid it was then fired at enemy ships and troops. It was even adapted to be put in jars rocks or stones to act like bombs. When thrown at enemies it would explode and be lethal
