INTRODUCTION
Some students in college schools are having a problem regarding on how they can improve the quality of education. The teacher is the only source of information during the class, but now using this system is more effective for students to improve their knowledge. Today, students learn in the most and to the great extent if they will learn it through doing it by themselves. By introducing this type of teaching strategies, E-Module for Discrete Structures with biometrics is made to enhance the quality of education and instruction inside the classroom.

OVERVIEW OF THE CURRENT STATE OF TECHNOLOGY In the current system of communication between people and computer, screen and keyboard are the primary channels of information exchange. Advances in technology and the art of computer programming have given rise to a new generation of methods for providing computer access to teachers and students.
Computer laboratory is one of the facilities most needed in universities. Usually, it is being utilized by classes that need the use of computer sucks as ICT and computer programming other classes utilized the used of the traditional “chalk and board”. But due to the fast moving modernization also affects the lifestyle of students, they tend to seek for easier way of studying.
With the use of ““E-Module for Discrete Structures with biometrics”” computer laboratories can be useful not only for computer classes but also to classes that will provide this system.
The term “E-Module for Discrete Structures with biometrics” refers to a software system which, when used in conjunction with a computer, provides system access to teachers and students.

Biometric systems are technologies that can scan physiological, chemical or behavioral characteristics of a subject for the sake of verifying or in other words authenticating their identity. It is the latest weapon in the fight against computer crime and identity theft. These technologies work with the help of sampling distinctive biological features, such as tracing patterns of blood vessels in the retina, voice recognition or fingerprinting. Later biological features are extracted and then converted into mathematical codes which are then stored as a biometric template. In order to confirm the identity of the user, they will be required to interact with the system scanner which will process the users identitywith the help of an iris or fingerprint scan. This sample is then compared with the template for a positive match and therefore, access is either granted or denied accordingly.…

Biometric Recognition or Biometrics refers to the automatic identification of a person based on intrinsic physical or behavioral traits. It requires physically present at the point of identification. Identification based on biometric techniques lessen the need to remember a password or carry a token like a physical ID. Various biometric traits are being used for real-time recognition, the most popular being face, iris and fingerprint. However, there are biometric systems that are based on retinal scan, voice, signature and hand geometry. First, a user must be enrolled in the system so that his biometric template or reference can be captured. This template is securely stored in a central database. The template is used for matching when an individual needs to be identified. Depending on the context, a biometric system can operate either in a verification (authentication) or an identification mode.…
