religious. This period is called the dark ages, which lasted nearly a thousand years. During this time advancement in science, and education were criminalized. Many books burned that were said to be irreligious and ungodly. At the root of all this was religion. Had this period in time never occurred we would be a thousand years more advanced. I’d challenge you to weigh the good and bad unbiasedly that has come with religion and tell me the results. Now comes the institutions that have be the most influential in my life.
These two are family and education. These are two of the ones that I believe are hard to live without in America. In my day to day life I have two things that are common, family and education. These being in 90% of my life makes them a big deal. Without family I wouldn’t be where I am today. Without education I wouldn’t be where I am today. These are the biggest parts of my life. On the other hand the least important to this point is political institutions. I say this because for 18 years of my life I have zero reason to be interested in politics because I didn’t have a say in any of it. Having no reason to care for that long hasn’t given it any tangible importance in my life. I’m sure as I get older it’ll become more important, but as of now this is the least
important. My roles and statuses in some institutions are more important than others. Family, education rank above them all. Medicine, science and military are ranked after the first two. The rest are below these with varying rank.
