On our poster we cut out different people from magazines and cut apart their face and pieced them all together to create a person that was made up of all different people. Our goal with this was to show unity. And
to show that our candy bar can bring people together for the love of candy. I think we succeeded with it, but I think we could have made the faces pop more. Also, we could have had a wrapper of our candy bar or a picture of one of us eating the candy bar. Overall I think it conveyed the message well. We used a lot Ethos in our project too. We took the ingredients in our candy bar and the ingredients in the snickers and compared them. We showed how ours is more natural and there are less allergies that are in our candy bar.
A couple days before we presented Taylor and I got together and went to the store to get the ingredients for our candy bars. We came back, and for the next 3 hours we were making candy bars. Meanwhile, Nina and her mom were getting snickers, for us to compare the candy too. In our candy bar we made a mousse and put a pirouette in the middle. It had to stay in the freezer for 24 hours. the next day I took them out and coated them with milk chocolate, then I froze it again.
Together we also made a Jingle on Nina's phone. Our jingle consisted of the State Farm music and we came up with the lyrics to it. Our lyrics were, “Our candy is dandy”. While we were presenting we played our jingle. We think it added to the effectiveness of our presentation because it gave an unusual fun spin on it. Also since we used the State Farm music people recognized it and they were more intrigued.
