Career Plan
Having a commitment of impacting my generation has always been the guide of my career plan. This commitment among other reasons is responsible for my choice of course of study, Computer Engineering. As a youth, I realized that Science and Technology have phenomenally contributed both to the development and to the existence of humankind. Great many men, from different generations have left their names in the sand of time with their scientific discoveries, while yet many have achieved parallel feats by improving on such discoveries. Thomas Edison’s name can never be forgotten for his discoveries, one of such is the electricity. A name that readily comes to mind in this present generation is Bill Gate of Microsoft, who has achieved great feat in the field of information technology.
From childhood, I have developed a great affection for the computer. Till date, I am of the opinion, probably a bias, that the Computer and the Internet are the greatest novelties science and technology have bestowed on human race. This has taken my path to Engineering in computer. Once after my graduation, I plan to pursue my dream of working with a multinational company or any other renowned company, where I will be exposed to a very professional environment that will enable me to develop my skills further, yet contributing my own quota. There are several of such companies around, but I have my preference among them, of which Hewlett and Packard (HP) remains on the top. I am particularly interested in working with Hp because of the wide acceptance of their products. I want to be a member of a team that helps make life easier to people all across the globe. I would want to start my career in their research department, where I will have a collective responsibility of developing or improving on the existing technology of production. This will not only bestow me the opportunity of gaining experience, but even put my at a per with great scientific icons I have read about,
