Carey Price Is My Hero Essay
How do you define a hero? No not Superman or Wonder woman, but an actual hero in the real world. My hero would be Carey Price. Ever since the 2015 season Price has always been in talks to be the Vezina trophy (in the NHL it’s the trophy for best goalie) with also being in talks of MVP. Just last year during the return of The World Cup of Hockey Price was selected to start for team Canada and then he went undefeated again, and won The World Cup of Hockey. Team Canada defeated Team Europe 2-0 in the best of three game series. This happened just after Price was injured for almost ¾ of the season prier. Which showed me that anything can happen and once you get knocked down you get right back up and prove people wrong.
Price has taught me many things about hockey and life even though I've never truly met him in person but I can't wait for the opportunity to play him someday because he is my favorite goalie and
