The primary goal of Mothers In Charge is to create nonviolent communities that are healthy, educated, and with full access to benefits and resources for a safe nation (Mothers In Charge, 2018). For example, in order to expand the organizations staffing capacity, they have to increase the income revenue. The organization cannot efficiently use their resources without a governing body to provide guidance. However, Mothers In Charge has made significant steps under the CFS on Board development as they decided this was the most perilous matter within the organization. Per the Executive Director, they recently appointed several members to the board of directors; conducted an on-boarding training for the members; and established five board committees to steer and oversee the organization (personal communication, January 30, 2018).
