Answer: I think I am extraverted. My family and my friends usually say that I am the person concerned more with the social and physical environment. I am at ease in talking to others and making new friends. They also describe me as a sociable, outgoing and sometime talkative. 520: Would you prefer to be more introverted or more extraverted than you are? Why?
Answer: I would prefer to be more extraverted than I am. I think extraversion indicate you may be suited to a managerial because extraverts like being charge and are more apt to shape environment to fit your wishes. Extraverts tend to be happier in their jobs and lives. They experience more positive emotions than do introverts and they also perform better in jobs with significant interpersonal interaction. They also have more friends and social skills. And they usually become leadership in groups.
521: Do you agree with Cain’s arguments? Why or why not?
I think I agree with Cain. According to Cain, half the world is more introverted than average but they prefer to be labeled extroverts. The question is why half of the world deny being introvert?
Social nowadays is dynamic, challenging and changing. Extrovert is sociable, gregarious and assertive so they have more chance to success in society. Besides, the social norms and structures give more opportunities for extroverts and force introverts to be “closet introverts” – acting according to an extraverted idea even that is not who they really are. Because introversion is suppressed, the introverts of the world distress and fail to capitalize on the many virtues of introversion. This is unfair. Both extrovert and introvert have pros and cons, both should be valuing equally. No matter
