Delights Restaurant
Q1. Identify and describe the central motivational problems at Delights
Jeremiah is working as a manager at Delights Restaurant, one of the chain restaurants that have reputation for having excellent food and dedicated employees located in Washington. Unfortunately he has encounter problem with his employees in the restaurant which cause the flow of customer began slipping and reflected his bonus.
In Jeremiah case, the employee’s are poor of self esteem. They are not respecting each other, the cook treated the waiter or waitress with a little respect and the employees often were impolite to customers and kept them waiting while they are talking at the back. Self-esteem is a basic human need or motivation. American psychologist Abraham Maslow, for example, included self-esteem in his hierarchy of needs.
