Abstract
This essay will discuss two recent scientific advance articles which talk about the method and ability to learn a second language, and then make a comparison between them. After reading, I deem that the second article might be more helpful for learners to learn it faster and more efficiently. Besides, some other relevant sources and some data I collected will be presented in this essay so that my standpoint can be clarified and more convinced. Consequently, the main contribution and benefits of these two scientific advances will be also identified.

1.0 introduction
The main object of this report is to study two scientific articles and identify their differences and discuss which one is more beneficial. The content of the first scientific advance is about the connection with the ability to learn patterns while studying a second language and the other one is about the relationship between language instruction and games. It is a common phenomenon that people always complain about the difficulty and complexity of learning a new language. However, some other people may feel like it is not that hard to approach to a new language. The appearance of these differences is largely because of our “nature”, such as the influence of different intelligence quotient and retention. However, there are some useful ways available for us to strengthen the ability of learning a second language. From my perspective, it is the connection with interesting games can be much more beneficial.
2.0 Methodology
In order to achieve this goal, I will use the methods of comparing and contrasting and a table to identify

In the case of Honig v. Doe, it was the first case to reach the Supreme Court dealing with discipline of special education students. This case took place in 1988 after two students from the San Francisco School District with emotional disabilities and aggressive tendencies were threatened with expulsion. John Doe (a pseudonym) was a socially and physically awkward 17 year-old who had difficulty controlling his impulses and anger. From early on in school, physical abnormalities, speech difficulties, and poor grooming habits resulted in his being the target of classmates teasing and ridiculing him. One day, in response to taunts from a fellow student at a developmental center for disabled students, he reacted in an explosive manner anticipated by his individualized education (IEP). He choked a student with enough force to leave abrasions on the boy’s neck. Afterwards, while being taken to the principal’s office, John kicked out a window. John was suspended from school for 5 days. The principal recommended that he be expelled. A lawsuit was filed, and the federal district court issued a temporary order directing the school to return John to his then current educational placement.…

As children learn a second language, Walqui brings out, there are individual, social and societal factors that the teacher should consider (2002). Some of these are linked to the native language of the student. Things that a teacher must take into account include the student’s proficiency in their native tongue. Additionally, how much academic knowledge the student has in their native tongue and the amount of prior knowledge the student has of the English language. “The more academically sophisticated the student is in their native language, knowledge, and abilities” can make a difference in how quickly and efficiently the student can learn in a second language (Walqui, 2002).
