EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Intel Corporation is a leading microprocessor manufacturer in the world. Having most of the world’s PCs powered by their microprocessors, Intel is recognised as the fifth most valuable brand in the world.
However, due to the fall of the use of desktops and the increase of using other types of personal computers such as laptops and tablets, Intel is now facing a tougher competition in the market segments that they have their competition in. in order to overcome this issue, Intel aims at developing integrated packages and platforms to provide complete solutions to its key customers. Aiming this, Intel’s new strategy is to be at the heart of new technological developments in all areas such as home entertainment, security and medical care.
This new strategy of Intel was launched recently at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Shows. Part of this was the new logo of Intel, which symbolizes that Intel is moving forward.
