In the Microsystem, Miguel’s parents are struggling to provide for the entire family and there is very little stability in the home. Miguel’s emotional stress of his parents struggling, little stability in the home, and language barrier could be link to his speech difficulties. With the collaboration his parents and agreeing with the therapy, he would not have the opportunity to acquire the help he needs that will build self-confidence and increase his memorization skills to help with the English language. Next, Miguel fits into the Exosystem where his mother has lost her job and his dad is doing odd jobs to make enough money to get by. This can lead Miguel to become self-conscious and possible embarrassment. The Macrosytem comes into play with their Hispanic culture. The dad and siblings are bilingual, however mom and grandma speaks only Spanish. In this Macrosytem, Miguel is having trouble processing information when it comes to the English language and the Spanish language. Having this trouble of processing information, it has caused him to become very sensitive to anyone who seems like they are making fun of him. Finally, the Chronosytem describes Miguel’s life too. His dad is doing different jobs, Miguel is transiting from a home of speaking Spanish to a school that may not have many Spanish speakers. He is having trouble transiting from speech/language therapy to jumping right back into class to get adjusted in the ongoing activities of the classroom and has made him sensitive to what others think of
