Case Study: My Favorite Activities And Interests

When I spoke with Marko, and asked him about what are his favorites activities and interests; he told me that he is not participating in any of sport activities in school and outside the school neither, he explained me that sport activities are not interesting for him, but that he has few interests. He is interesting in playing video games, and he likes to draw, since he is expressing his thoughts and feelings through drawing (McLeod, 2013). The second participant was a male. His name is Ivan. Ivan is a 32 years old. He is working as a psychologist. He is smart, handsome, patient, calm type of person, respectable in his work and he has few friends around him. He likes to have a minor circle of people in his life. He lives alone, and he is very
Ivan was never criticized strongly, so he has strong self-esteem and he is very sure in his own abilities. If we take a look on his parents, they encourage and support his in increasing his independence. He is good in planning his activities; games and Ivan initiate activities with others. Ivan develops the sense of initiative, and feels secure in his ability to lead others and bring decisions. He is very close with his parents, like I said before, and he is surround with love, safety and care. Ivan is productive and he is involved in many works and sport activities. Since Ivan is playing a futsal, he enjoys in any kind of sport activities, but not that he is only playing a futsal, he is also a coach to group from 15-25 years old. He likes to spend his time with adolescents, and he likes being a coach. Playing futsal and being one futsal coach are activities he adores; and one of Ivan’s biggest interests are to finish and acquire his PhD diploma and get married and have children soon (McLeod, 2013). Nevertheless, I would like to point out that for me it is very different to observe younger children than
I also had an opportunity to be a part of internship where I was working with those children, and I can tell it is not easy. However, there are also healthy children who can tell us lots while playing. We can be surprised how much we can find out just by watching them playing. But, for me it is better to work while speaking with children and adults. I enjoy when I can ask many questions and then hear the answers in detail explained. As I am interesting in clinical and counseling psychology it is actually understandable that I prefer formal chatting then informal one. To end this section, I would like to point out that the course "Play, Fantasy and Reality" was an amazing subject to take. Also, professor seemed to be an excellent teacher who actually learned me so much during the course. For every section she gave me a feedback with explanations why something went wrong and even when I got full credit for my assignment she provide me great explanation. Every chapter in this course was extremely interesting and I enjoyed in every minute going thought the course. I can tell I learned something new, and I am very
