Case Study Of Culver's Company
Based on the Culver’s website and their ‘Our Story’ page, Culver’s goes to great lengths to maintain their mission statement. Their mission statement is that “Every guest who chooses Culver’s leaves happy” (Culver’s, 2016). One of the ways Culver’s strives to achieve this is how they train their crew members who are also called the True Blue Crew. As a past employee of Culver’s I can attest that one of the main goals of Culver’s is to provide fast, friendly service. They train their employees to put their guests first. Culver’s also instils Ruth Craig’s hospitality across all store locations (Culver’s, 2016). Hospitality is, what they believe, one of the “true measures of their success” (Culver’s, 2016).
Another way Culver’s preserves their mission statement is by offering fresh Butter Burgers and Fresh Frozen Custard (Culver’s,

They take great appreciation in their farmers and make sure to announce it any time they can. It is something they take pride in. “From the cattle ranches of the Great Plains to the dairy farms of Wisconsin and south to Georgia’s chicken country, it’s important to us to make sure farm families across the nation clearly see how thankful we are for their hard work and dedication.” (Culver’s, 2016). This is perhaps another reason why many Culver’s guests leave happy; because their food was fresh and delicious. Culver’s also offers Sundaes, Shakes/Malts, and Concrete Mixers. One can also use a variety of mix ins such as candies and/or fruits or even sauces such as hot fudge, caramel and peanut butter. With different daily ice cream flavors, Twix Mix, Strawberry Cheesecake, Raspberry Chocolate Marshmallow, Mint Oreo and Eggnog Brickle to just name a few there is always something for someone (Culver’s, 2016).
