How I ensure that families are kept aware of what’s happening in their child’s daily/ or weekly life in my program is by having room displays such as photos and posters of the children interacting with each other and bulletin boards of their artwork all around my center. I would also post pictures of the children dancing and laughing around my class to show the parents the fun things we do. I would also post pictures of them working to show the children’s parents that my children are getting educated and that my children are learning. I am also able to provide the families with my weekly agenda of what the children and I will be working on. As a childcare professional I do my part to maintain a well run purposeful program responsive to participant needs I would use my obervations tools to identify the strengths and goals of each child and the observation forms also help me know how to work with that child so he/she could be successful. As a preschool teacher it is my goal to keep all the children in my class safe while in my care. Our classroom is set up in a way that every child can easily maneuver around the entire classroom. We talk about using walking feet and gentle hands inside and outside of our classroom on a weekly basis, we also have a fully stocked first aid kit in our classroom, available and accessible for any teacher that may be in the room. It is essential to the growth and development of every child to advance their physical and intellectual needs. There are numerous ways to encourage this type of development. I offer a variety of activities that promote the advancement of the physical and intellectual competence of the children in my care. Children are encouraged to participate in daily large motor activities to enhance physical development. I do this by being very enthusiastic and even joining in with the children at play. Outside we play tag, ball, hopscotch, and other made up games. Inside we play parachute, and beanbag toss.
