disappointment. seeing her unamused expression and her stiff smiles, chanyeol felt disappointed about himself. there was no ‘i missed you’ and it wasn’t a sweet reunion, and chanyeol blamed himself for that. it was his fault everything ended, and it was his fault that she felt this way after seeing him again after god knows how long. when their relationship ended, chanyeol knew he made a mistake, but never once did he admit it. they would argue nonstop and on days like that, he honestly missed the sweet old days of their romance.

he couldn’t stop staring, his eyes didn’t want to leave the woman that once made his heart wanted to burst out of his chest. he noticed she dyed her hair, it was just the perfect shade of brown that fit her well. chanyeol dyed his hair as well, but it wasn’t just light brown or blonde like most others who dyed their hair, it was a

chanyeol awkwardly laughed hoping it would ease the atmosphere. “i know it took me a long ass time to try and solve the problem, it might be too late now, but i was just… hoping, that we could still be friends.” he was sincere, he wanted to get rid of the guilt he felt inside his chest whenever her name came into his mind.

even after saying sorry, the guilt was slightly lifted, but it was still there. he wanted to right his wrongs, and as a start, he wanted to treat her better and bring back the laughter that used to fill the air whenever they were together back then.
