Dodge was kind enough to talk to him and take him where Dodge lives. The house belongs to a guy named Fagin, he is a chubby Jewish guy who takes in many orphaned children. He enjoys cooking and taking care of the children. While Dodge introduces everyone to Oliver, a woman named Nancy introduces herself to Oliver and she helps Fagin take care of the children. I disliked how Mr.Monks was making a plan with Fagin to kill Oliver because he didn’t want Oliver to become a leader and have power. I disliked how Mr.Sikes was using Oliver as a shield whenever they were trying to kill Oliver and Nancy helped Oliver recover from the shooting incident. Throughout this movie, I actually enjoyed it and I wonder if Oliver will end up being adopted by Rose later…

We see him as someone who is unliked from people. They make him seem as someone who is unknown and scary. In this chapter, they make us see another side of Boo Radley we never would have seen.…

The World Trade Center Memorial Foundation was renamed the National September 11 Memorial & Museum at the World Trade Center in 2007. A memorial was planned in the immediate aftermath of the attacks and destruction of the World Trade Center to remember both the victims and those involved in rescue. The National September 11 Memorial & Museum at the World Trade Center is a non-profit corporation with the mission to raise funds for, program, own and operate the memorial and museum at the World Trade Center siteIn September 2007, the Memorial & Museum launched a four-month national awareness tour that stopped at 25 cities in 25 states where thousands participated in the tour’s activities. Highlights from the tour included: an exhibition of photographs, artifacts from the site and a short film featuring firsthand accounts from individuals who had experienced 9/11 directly. At the opening ceremony in South Carolina, White Knoll Middle School’s students, who raised more than half a million dollars in 2001 to buy a new truck for New York City's Fire Department, were honored. Also at the ceremony, retired New York City Police Officer Marcelo Pevida presented the City of Columbia with an American flag that had flown over Ground Zero. As the main attraction of the 2007 National Tour, steel beams that would later be used in the construction of the memorial were made available to visitors who wanted to sign their names onto it.…

    Laughter in humans

One of the most peculiar behaviors innate to humans is laughter. Our ability to laugh is mystifying to behavioral biologists. Darwin noticed that laughter occurs in a variety of emotional states; from anger to joy, nervousness to shame, we use it to both hide and accentuate emotion (Adams & Kirkevold, 1978). It is difficult to imagine why laughing increases behavioral fitness or increases reproductive success. Darwinian evolution postulates that behavior evolves according to their ability to increase fitness. Why, then, is laughter an inborn behavior as opposed to a useful behavior that must be learned, such as hunting? Certainly it yields no obvious practical reason; in fact, being loud and attention-calling, it seems more of a hindrance from predators. The answer is in no way simple, and would have to address an unwieldy heterogeneity of elements, such as ethology, evolutionary biology, and sociology. However, it is becoming more and more clear that laughter, though perplexing, is important.…
