BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Introduction
Nowadays all establishment are becoming modernized, they use modern technologies to make their transaction fast, easy, and accurate in order to avoid waste of time and for the sake of safety and security. It also helps human to solve and understand complex problem and analysis such us the computational need of humans especially to business establishment or corporation processing enormous data and complex transaction. Attendance and payroll monitoring are examples of complex transactions since these involve in critical business operations dealing with numerous accounts and produce plenty and confidential files. Both encompass every employee of a company who receives a regular wages or other compensation due to each.
Attendance and payroll management are also very important in every member of an organization or in a company wherein a single absent can make a big difference in their performance. Sometimes, employees are prone to absences because of some unexpected reasons which affect their salary.
The solution has to take care of the calculation of salary as per rules of the company, income tax calculation and various deductions to be done from the salary including statutory deductions like Income tax and provident fund deductions which the Payroll system will base on the attendance records.
Applying manual procedure on these transactions involving the vast beat answer in that problem would be computer because computers through the biometric technology can simulate enormous data and can process complex transaction in a fast and efficient way. It can generate numerous accounts, reports and data accurately.
In a computerized payroll system, the employer may invest computerized payroll software which is available in the market. Using this software such as QuickBooks allows the employer to enter the wages into the system after he has manually calculated them. The payroll and check printing are processed through the system.
