When feeling that someone has betrayed him, he appears very angry but manages to control it so he does not make any mistakes that will put him in danger any further more. Peekay tells Morrie that he should “bash his teeth in” (408) because Morrie contrived the fight for his own good. During this, Peekay’s anger reaches an extremely high level because he personally felt the outcome of the match should have been due to a fair fight by himself,but Morrie mentions that he was behind it,making sparking a heavy feeling of distrust and heartbreak within Peekay. Not everytime Peekay has a temper tantrum will it result in gloomy results. Earlier in the story, Peekay talked about being peed on and continues to mention how he immediately attempts to dry himself off with his clothes (5). This reflects a portion of his emotional issues as instead of reacting in a very immature manner or discussing the problem, he automatically attempts to fix the problem himself, which is out of place for a young child. This also leaves the reader with an almost complete feeling of sympathy towards him knowing that he is at such a young age and when they make the connection to how kids around his age really act in this society it might also leave them
