Characteristics Of Barack Obama

1) Barack Hussein Obama is famous for being the first African-American of the United States. He is the 44th president of the United States and is recognized for health care reform as well as economic stimulus legislation, essentially an act of congress to boost the economy of the United States. Obama grew up in Hawaii, born from a white American mother and a black Kenyan father. He earned degrees from both Columbia University as well as Harvard Law school. In 1992, Barack Obama married Michelle Robinson and had two daughters. He was then elected to the Illinois state senate in 1992. After winning in a close contest between Rodham Clinton for the Democratic nomination, Barack Obama defeated John McCain, the Republican Nominee in the election
One of his biggest qualities is that he is harsh. In Barack Obama The Story, his harshness is shown as “Friends and family described him as a perfectionist who could be violent, cunning, and cruel. He had a repiutation for pummeling enimies with fistts smaking childeren who did not shows proper manners at the dinner table, and beating women who failed to meet his standards, five including five wives and what some friends and relatives counted as at least ten other brief live-in women partners at various points” (p. 29). Another trait that Barack Obama displays is naughtiness and independence as the book states “The trial was necessary because of adverse reports from his former employees. These concerns did not involve his talent but drinking and freelancing” (p. 247). This shows how he is not one to always obey rules and can only be controlled by himself. This again is shown as the book states “HIs classmates said he hated to be told what to do by perfects. At a missionary school, when you were told to march, you marched, but Obama took orders as insult. There were no maids at the school, and the students were expected to clean up their own dorm rooms, but Obama the son of a man who could become violent when faced with anything unkempt cleaning his room beneath his dignity” (P. 65). Barack Obama also has a trait of a will to insult people as the book states “WHen a protest started, an unsigned letter reached the principal's office that wittily and nastily attacked the school administration and listed a set of grievances. An investigation could not determine for certain who was behind the letter, but the headmaster and his aides pinpointed Barack Obama” (P.66). This makes me think that Barack Obama would most likely not be a friend. As stated before, Barack Obama has a bunch of nasty character traits that can easily hurt someone's feelings as well as injure someone. Say, one was a really close friend with Barack
