Hitler, Steve Jobs, Howard Schultz, & Mahndar Gandi are all examples of charismatic leaders known of their strong influence upon their followers. They got this attractiveness and passion which made them an icon and role model for their followers. They share emotional bonds with their followers to gain devotion, loyalty and commitment. So what is Charismatic leadership? And why Howard Schultz is counted as one of the most charismatic leadership in the recent century.
What is Charismatic Leadership? The English term of charisma can be traced back to the ancient Greece; The Greek word charisma means "favor freely given" or "gift of grace". According to Oxford dictionary charisma means "compelling attractiveness or charm that can inspire devotion in others".[1] In General the Charismatic person is a charming person who has the ability to communicate and interact with people surrounding him in such a way he/she attract ,inspire and team up with them.
What makes you charismatic leader?

Becoming charismatic leadership involves a lot of Emotional expressiveness and warmth, for example Hitler who's counted as one of the most charismatic leaders through the history showed a lot of emotion and spiritual incretion during in his speeches.
Charismatic leaders possess a superb, open, interactive and colorful communication skills therefore the massage sent by a charismatic leader to his audience is usually clear, inspiring & powerful.
Furthermore, Charismatic leaders use their vision & unconventional strategies to achieve goals. The term vision is "mental image that a leader evokes to portray an idealized future state"[2]. Unconventional strategy is to use abnormal and creative strategies to achieve goal and make accomplishments. Using Unconventional strategies is risky and requires a high self-confident leader to apply. As a result Charismatic leaders are usually known as high risk orientated leaders.     When looking at the ten different approaches to the study of leadership when I read about the Charismatic leader I thought of Steve Jobs. He, perhaps better than anyone one in today's business world, sensed opportunities and was able to convey that vision to the employees of his company.
