Child Soldiering In The Congo
The war in Congo, Africa, has been brutally rampaging for years, but when the Rwandan Civil War started, a new era of mass genocide, brutal hospitality and all around despicable war tactics were introduced .The war became so bad children were taken from their families. A child is figuratively supposed to run around, play with toys and hang out with friends, not kill without reason for their higher officials. War takes away the idea of childhood innocence and turns children into cold blooded, kill without reason children, forcing them into a cold and abrupt early adulthood.

their families do not want them anymore and no one trusts them. The only sign of hope these children have looking up for them is the refugee camps and organizations that can help them get back on their feet.
There has been two million children killed, six million have been seriously injured or permanently disabled, over one million have been left orphans, and over ten million have serious psychological trauma. There are 7,000 child soldiers still being used. These children need to be rescued and the process has been started. Refugee camp and organizations such as have been set up to help these children escape and also get back on their feet and make something of themselves. Organizations such as Child Soldiers International, SOS Children’s Villages, Peace Direct, and The Center for Investigative Reports, all have roles in the rescue process.
This war is causing these children to have to enter adulthood earlier than they should. These children have experienced things children should not have to experience things that most adults do not even experience in their life. Children should not have to worry about killing people and they should not have to worry if they are going to be picked today to be raped by members of the army or rebel
