Parents should guide us in choosing a course but they should never be autocratic. They should not force their children be like them or be someone whom they don’t want. They only put pressure on their child if they keep on deciding for their children’s future. Pressure makes an individual failed on what they are doing. I believed that deciding on your own makes individual more responsible and independent. I believed that having freedom makes your life lighter and happier and a people lead to decide more rational. For example, you choose to be a civil engineer and then you failed on one subject, instead of quitting, you tend to be more aggressive and do your best to cope with that failure. Thus deciding on your own makes you more responsible and independent.
