City Council: Harmful Or Helpful?

Although our city council is considering teenagers or kids should not be allowed out on the streets after ten on school nights and twelve on weekends, My opinion is that they should let them be out at anytime. Their parents could tell them that they should be in by a certain time, and if they don't, that is the parent's decision. They should be smart enough to know that they should not be out on the town too late. The weekends, I reckon they should be allowed to be in the town on the weekends anytime!
First off, their parents could tell them to be home on a certain time, If the parents do not care the city council should not care. The kids should get to pick what time they should come in, but it does not need to be too late, like three o'clock
