This article also shows the laws that were brought after
the Civil Rights Act, which were some like the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and the Fair Housing Act of 1968. These two laws brought new and better rights for those who had fought a long time for them. The Voting Rights Act of 1965 brought the right to vote for African Americans without having to take the absurd literacy tests or having to pay the tax poll. Then, the Fair Housing Act of 1968 brought the right to buy, rent out, or finance without the discrimination put into the equation, for it had been banned. These two laws made after the Civil Rights Act brought new laws that were well needed.
