A prime example of a new form a civilization in Genesis is when God had flooded the earth in Genesis 6. Not only did God had promise Noah that he would never flood the earth again but he new civilization. Civilization is found yet again in the beginning of Genesis 11. At the time the whole world spoke one language and each person living was able to understand one another despite what town he or she may have been from (Genesis 11-1). However as the chapter continues and in verse seven and eight the Lord allows there to be multiple different languages and nobody was able to understand one another (Genesis 11:7-8). This might have been because God was constantly telling people to leave their homes and go to a new land. As land and towns were being discovered it was simple for everyone to know what was happening leading to reason as to why God had created the different languages in different towns so people were unable to understand one
