What each team member agrees to do
Why this is important to the team
Check into the CLC regularly to review progress on the assignment
To be up to date when something is due and to make sure we are all on track on our individual parts for this assignment.
Contribute ideas and feedback to the group from initial discussions throughout project completion
If we keep the ideas flowing we can get all of the information needed for the assignment. We will have more success on the assignment and it will be worked on by the entire group.

This will allow us to make sure the project is what we all want and not just what “one of us wants” or even help us our if someone has a better idea or different way of handling a issue
Communicate with all CLC members as soon as a problem or issue arises
Communication is the tool to success and we need to be open and numerous brains is so much better than one brain.
Maintain respectful communications with all team members
Being mature and handling issues that may arise like adults is key to success. Being clear and open with each other will be a great help in the short and long run.

It is also the time to stipulate what will be the dos and don’ts within the relationship. Having disagreements are healthy because it helps each other gain respect for one another. If the disagreement becomes a yelling match, then really nobody is really listening. This accomplishes nothing and may cause deep damage within relationship. Who wants to discuss issues with anyone who only responds with yelling? Trust, communication, respect, and honesty must be maintained at all times during a relationship for it to be…

Whereas with young people you need to have a different strategy in order to deal with disagreements. This age group are strong willed and most will have their own views and ideas. They are more independent and have their individual personalities hence will clash more. They should be encouraged to discuss the issue and come to a mutual agreement. Learning to accept others views and opinions and to respect this. Adults should give young people the opportunity to resolves issues themselves and intervene only when needed. I feel when dealing with young people, you need to be able to listen to them, let them explain the issue before jumping in giving them your view. All good relationships are built on warmth, caring, mutual respect and a willingness to listen to and accept one another. You can do this simply by setting aside everything else for a moment and giving them your full attention and a warm look. Remain pleased and fully attentive to whatever the child or young person presents. You'll be amazed where things go when we make time for them to unfold. A good sense of humour also helps…
