1. Why is it important that if the client knows that someone is being hurt that she and the client make the phone call to the appropriate people?
It is important for accountability and evidence purposes. The client has to be aware that the clinician has breached confidentiality agreement, and it allows the client to develop trust and be a part of the action plan.

2. If records are court ordered, is it ok to let the client know that it has happened? What are ways that you would do that with the client?
Yes, it is ok to let the client know his/her records has been court ordered. One way a clinician could do that is by calling the client to inform the client that their records has been court ordered and explain the process to them. Another
