Cloning Persuasive Speech

Have you ever thought of cloning yourself? Thereś two ways you can be cloned, either therapeutic or reproductive. A therapeutic cloning is an embryo thatś created in a similar way, but they are not implanted to a femaleś uterus. They keep the cells in the lab in a dish. A reproductive cloning is creating a species thatś genetically identical to the donor. The embryo is placed back to the uterine environment to where it can implant and develop. Recently, a bill has just come up that would allow the use of taxpayer money to fund both therapeutic and reproductive cloning research of all human and animals. I am against this new bill and you should be to. In my opinion, the money that would go into this bill is a waist. The worst part about cloning animals and humans is it results in failure most of the time. In the article “Arguments for and Against Creating Human Clones”, it states “95-98% of mammalian cloning experiments have resulted in failures in the form of miscarriages, stillbirths, and life- threatening anomalies”. Itś clearly a fail most of the time so why should taxpayers waist money for it? I believe in the fact that everyone in this world is different and unique. Vidak, people are considering using cloning to bring someone back from the dead. In the article “Arguments for and Against Creating Human Clones”, the quote “Human cloning could allow parents of a child who has died to seek redress for their loss”, means that people from the dead can be brought back. They want the pain to go away but is it really the same person? Once the the clone is born, it still needs to grow and it also does not have the same memories as the dead person. The clone would have to live in the shadow of a dead person. I would not want to live in the shadow of a dead person, do you? This new bill should go into the environment, to the people, or to the places where their´s
