Cloud Intelligence Terminals Gathered at Mobile World Congress
Under the background of Industry 4.0, governments are increasing their investment in research and development one after another, actively acting to push the development of artificial intelligence (AI) through public investment. It is, however, still a huge challenge for the industry to land and popularize AI. Statistics suggest that only 5% of the enterprises have applied AI to their products or businesses in large scale and there are still 80% enterprises not really starting. Intelligence terminals are expecting a bright prospect in promoting the large-scale application and popularization of AI.

As little as ten years ago, the thought of having a personal computer at one's office desk, home, or grade school seemed far‑fetched indeed. Now personal computers are accepted complacently as part of our modern world. Computer brains run cars, stereos, televisions, refrigerators, phone systems, factories, offices, airplanes, and defense systems, to name a few examples. The next progression of the computer as a mobile unit, robot, may like the personal computer, become a common and essential companion at home and in the workplace.…

Cloud computing is an emerging model where users can gain access to their applications from anywhere through their connected devices. A simplified user interface makes the infrastructure supporting the applications transparent to users. The applications reside in massively-scalable data centers where compute resources can be dynamically provisioned and shared to achieve significant economies of scale. A strong service management platform results in near-zero incremental management costs when more IT resources are added to the cloud. The proliferation of smart mobile devices, high speed wireless connectivity, and rich browser-based Web 2.0 interfaces has made the network-based cloud computing model not only practical but also a source of reduced IT complexity.…

Technology is a wonderful thing. With so many technological advances happening in the world every day, it’s hard to imagine life before it all came along. For many older generations though, they can remember a time when humans were doing most of what artificial intelligence is doing now. In today’s world, just trying to actually talk to a human over the phone when calling places of businesses can be an eye opening experience into a world consumed with Technology. Artificial intelligence is becoming more advanced and able to perform multiple capabilities, so one cannot deny that at some point in the future human jobs may have a smaller role in the manufacturing industry.…

When I became interested in computer science, one of the areas that intrigued me the most was that of Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI was futuristic back when I first attended college and the ideas that surrounded it seemed unattainable and unrealistic. Today the development of AI has been achieved and continues to grow and expand into new uses.…

IT departments and infrastructure providers are under increasing pressure to provide computing infrastructure at the lowest possible cost. In order to do this, the concepts of resource pooling, virtualization, dynamic provisioning, utility and commodity computing must be leveraged to create a public or private cloud that meets these needs. Cloud computing is a general term for anything that involves delivering hosted services over the Internet. This provides the smaller companies or individuals who couldn’t able to buy costly software or any other resources. This becomes easy because of cloud computing. Cloud promises real costs savings and agility to customers. It’s a ‘Pay for Usage’ plan. We pay the money based on our usage only. Through cloud computing, a company can rapidly deploy applications where the underlying technology components. Access to applications and data anywhere, any Time, from any device is the potential outcome of cloud computing. This is suitable technology for limited budgets and a highly dynamic market with minimal resources.…

The national Institute of Standards and Technology under the department of Commerce defines Cloud Computing as “a model for enabling ubiquitous, convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction”. Another definition for cloud computing is a term used to describe a network of computers that deliver information technology services over the internet to many users in an on-demand environment (P.Y. Thomas 2011). As you can see by the definitions above the term Cloud Computing has been defined, yet many of us are barely getting to understand how this type of computing affects the work we do both in our personal life and in the workplace. In the following pages you will see how cloud computing is the way of the future without it being limited to business applications; furthermore creating a niche in the social media/personal computing we do on a daily basis.…

The use of technology has always been vital to the life and survival of the human race. Ever since the Neanderthals utilized wooden tools to hunt and cook 500,000 years ago, humans have been fascinated with developing the next cutting edge technology or invention. In 1955, John McCarthy used a term called artificial intelligence, and defined it as "the science and engineering of making intelligent machines". Over the last 60 years with the inventions of computers, cell phones, and the internet, artificial intelligence has become prominent in the news and in mainstream media. Today, the phrase is a hot topic, not just in tech circles, but around the globe, as many experts believe the ensuing breakthrough will come through A.I.…

The technological field has advanced to something far more than what people could have imagined just a half a century ago. The technological revolution has changed the lifestyle of societies just as the Industrial revolution changed the lifestyle of Europe. Who would have imagined the Internet and computers in most homes, when a computer could barely fit into an entire building, much less intelligent machines? Artificial Intelligence is an intriguing technology that will shape the human lifestyle of the future. Restricting research and progress in the field is hardly a feasible task in today's world. More realistically, we should monitor and keep the technology in a realistic and safe progression.…

We are all familiar with and use the cloud in many different ways. If you use Gmail, Amazon music downloads, Itunes, Microsoft Office 365, you are using cloud technology. The Cloud eliminates the need to store large amounts of data on your computer or tablet. Access to programs without downloading them is also a benefit to cloud computing. The best benefit of cloud computing in my opinion is being able to access your information from any computer, tablet or smartphone that has an internet connection. This eliminates the need to store your data on a disk or flash drive and carry it with you.…
