attends this meeting, and the co-op advisor believes that Johnny deserves to be able to access myCareer again, then he should be able to continue to be able to access myCareer. If Johnny does not attend the aforementioned meeting or if the reason for Johnny’s lack of participation in the co-op program is simply disinterest/ laziness then I believe that Johnny should lose his access to myCareer.
As for advice for Johnny, I would recommend that Johnny should take some time to reflect upon why he chose to do co-op, furthermore why he chose to study what he chose to study.
Perhaps during his reflections he would realize that his indifference towards co-op is actually rooted in a lack of interest for his chosen area of study. After Johnny has had some time to reflect on his actions I would suggest that he should book an appointment with a co-op advisor. This appointment can be used to help Johnny get back on track with his co-op schedule as well as help him with finding his own co-op job (assuming he has been locked out of myCareer). Additionally I would recommend that Johnny take into account that the job market is very limited and that he should be less picky, barely anyone gets their dream co-op and he should be thankful to get any co-op. I would also recommend that Johnny visits and academic advisor since it’s unlikely that Johnny would have been doing great in all other areas of his academic career and just let his co-op responsibilities
slip.
