I enjoy and excel at photography. Ever since my dad bought a Canon SLR, I was determined to start using it to take some professional grade photos. At first, he was hesitant to let a 9-year old use such an expensive gadget, but when he noticed my passion for learning photography, he fully supported my interest. He taught me the basics of a camera one summer, and he would take me to the backyard, the park, and other interesting places so that I could explore taking pictures with different settings. These days, even when I don’t have my SLR camera around, if I see any interesting scenes, I’ll just whip out my phone and take a couple of pictures. My grandfather was an artist, and he taught me the basics at a very young age. I have been drawing and painting for over 10 years, and I have experience with many mediums, including colored pencil, oil paint, acrylic paint, charcoal, graphite, watercolor, ink, and more. Creating artwork is something I love to do in my free time, and by being a part of the Prospector, I can turn my quick doodles into something that other people can see and enjoy. I slowly transitioned to graphic design once I realised how much more you could do with a computer than a pencil and paper. I have experience using multiple kinds of software, and I love creating unique pieces of art. I still continue to make some physical art pieces, but I find myself grabbing my computer more
