The career interest profiler shows I am mostly investigative, with a score of 30. Considering my background, I strongly agree with the results. Investigative interest deals with thinking rather than working with or leading people. Investigative people tend to look for facts, and try to figure out problems. I am the type of person who likes to work alone, because it is the most efficient for me. Working alone allows me to think more comfortably, rather than discussing a solution with everyone. My second result was a little bit of a surprise to me. I had a social score of 24. People with Social interests like working with others to help them
learn and grow. They like working with people more than working with objects, machines, or information. They like teaching, giving advice, and helping people. Even though I am a very shy person, I still enjoy interacting with people. At introduction I may the quietest person in the room, but after getting to know everyone, I amongst one of the loudest. Overall, I am investigative when alone, but I am able to socialize with others when needed.
