For search terms, I used words such as “infertility,” “sources,” and “treatments”. One must be cautious when using Google as a search engine because a lot of faulty sources and information can arise. It is the student’s responsibility to perform further research into the author/publisher’s background and to use good judgment as to whether the source is credible or not. Before typing my paper, I made sure my source was reputable. The information is consistent with the topic and does not use “buzz words.” There are a couple of other valid medical references that the website uses, including MedlinePlus. The site is not selling anything and gives unbiased information and facts, which I think is extremely important. When a website’s main goal is to sell something, there is a higher possibility that the information given is faulty and the purpose of the writing is not solely for the consumer’s knowledge and benefit. I can honestly say that I picked a great source to get my information from because I learned a lot about infertility that I did not already
