South American countries may rebel against the idea of colonizing them.

Just like in Africa the aftermath of being colonized negatively affected their culture and traditions. “Over the next 400 years,Over 6 million people were exported from the areas of modern day Nigeria to work on New World plantations” (Nigeria, 2012, pg.18) Due to this action Africans lives were undermined by the Europeans. Another way that the Africans suffered from colonization was by adjusting to new cultures and traditions far different than their own. For example the introduction to new technology was a struggle for the Africans to adjust to. “These cities,however,often suffer from inefficient transportation and utility system, pollution, and unregulated residential growth.” (South America: Resources, no date, pg.3) Meaning that the Africans were not used to all the ways of transportation that the Europeans have. Therefore the South Americans would be in the same situation with having to adjust to a different culture and lifestyle that we have . Although some agree with not colonizing South America others think differently.
Other than a negative view on colonization some would say that colonizing South America would be a good thing due to the possible benefits colonizing could due for South
