Colorado-Personal Narrative

One warm summer day my family was frantically rushing to gather all our belongings for a week long adventure out west. We were trying our best to squeeze every item in the car; finally we were ready to depart from home. I was just fourteen years of age at the time and had never been more than a few states away. The ride there was beyond exciting, but extra long. I believe most of that was due to the anticipation of when we would finally reach the great state of Colorado.
