A good thesis statement helps guide the rest of your paper. Do you think this is true? Is it true of a poor thesis statement as well? Why?
A good thesis statement is a way to help guide your paper. The thesis statement provides an outline for how the writer will progress with the paper. A working thesis will guide your paper just as much and then after your paper is finished, you can go back and refine your thesis to strengthen it. I try to create a strong thesis statement, construct my paper, and then finalize by thesis based on my points. It tells the readers what to expect from the entire paper. On the other hand, poor thesis statement will do the opposite. It may leave your audience puzzled. It might also leave your readers not able to follow your thought process because they will not see the process of organization. I have found it difficult to make a strong thesis on your first try. This is how much emphasis should be put into the thesis statement as it could be considered the backbone of your paper.

To make supporting points, it is important that one finds relevant, accurate, and reliable sources. What should you consider when looking for helpful sources? What are some red flags that indicate you should avoid a particular source?
The beginning stage of considering a source starts before you do any research. Take time to consider what precisely you are researching. Do need opinions, facts, rational arguments, data, and descriptions? Is the reason for your research to get fresh ideas, to find either accurate or consistent support for your main idea, or something else? Being capable of choosing accurate sources will require and understanding, of course, but even a novice researcher can take a time to ask, "What source or what type of source would be the most trustworthy for providing information for this
