The common stereotypes about Tibet were formed as a result of the flattened complexities of Tibet that was forced upon its people to be fitted into categories. One example of a stereotype in Tibet is Romantic. Romantic means the way people see Tibet as a timeless country that attracts tourists and has peaceful people. Another stereotype is being a spiritual country that is the holy land of Buddhism and Buddhist monks. Lastly, Tibet is seen as an isolated land that is not modern and depends on China to get its daily needs. The real Tibet, however, is a unique country that has a unique political and religious combination that rules the country. It is the country that seeks its independence and wants to be considered an individual country and not only a part of China. Tibet, in fact, has lived side by side with China for centuries and always has been a separate country that has a government of its own.
