We can, in fact, define capitalism as a system that recognizes and protects private property, free enterprise, freedom of personal choice, consumer sovereignty on production targets through the free market the product, chosen or ordered by the consumer guide, in fact, the production programs. But it is also flawed, it is not the way things are going on in a capitalist country. The capitalist system is narrowed to a minority, and not in its implementation. You cannot really say that a country living under a capitalist system when 1 percent of the population control the wealth of the rest who consider themselves as the bottom 99 percent. The Occupy movement (for example) put emphases on the social and economic inequality caused by capitalism. At first it was a valiant effort to voice the opinion of the un-wealthy but it ultimately led to nothing after the media circuit started to cover less and less about it and when the only people occupying the chosen spots were simply “hippies” (i.e. people who are opposed to the government and how things function) or people who had absolutely nothing better to do.
