Community Policing And Media Analysis

Dustin, the media play’s a significant role in how the community portrays the police. Television gives people a negative perception of how we act and trust the police, but this is only entertainment. These crime shows have gone so far as the immolate some of the police shootings and use them in they episodes because it makes for good television. I was also told that all police were good, every time the police came around when I was growing up, they would give us a football or baseball cards. As I grew up, the police would still come around, and we would trade cards. That is my definition of community policing.
