To demand a change within our community, to articulate the impact of violence, and show others that our community will stand in unity. Whether we clean up, pick up the trash that the wind blows everywhere, or even enact non-violent protests, it is my duty to be a part of an initiative that invoke change on young adults. In fact, to be agents of change. My goal is to establish the wealth of what a community looks like. That instead of being the most segregated city in the United States, and being ranked in the top 10 of the most violent cities, we can break the barriers to being one of the top cities who commits to community outreach. That provides support for young adults and those who are bound to negative habits. That our churches, community members, brothers, sisters, and families can reach out to one another to propose solutions in order to protect our city. To at least start to decrease some of the violence within our neighborhood. That is my goal, and that was the dream of Jakeem Sims before he lost his life. My goal in the next 10 years, is to promote a new, and better City of Milwaukee then it was 20 years ago!
