So, what is a dream well it is a perception of something we desire out of our lives to be better. The terms of an American dream differ throughout every generation, except for one factor of the dream which is hard work. Examples of this the first so called American dream started back when the protestants came to America they believed “if people worked hard and are successful God is happy.” Their dream was hard work and for God to be happy with them. So back to the matter the 1920s believed in richer fuller country but they also knew that hard work must be involved. In the generation now we wish to be known as one who has seen it all, yet we also know this only can be accomplished through our labors. These dreams are different for they have different objects they desire but the mind set of obtaining these are the same. A dream is just a fantasy, unless one can grasp the leg of that and make it a reality and to do that one will need hard work ethics.
