The Sioux and Haida and Inuit are living in Canada.The Inuit and Sioux both eat caribou. Caribou for the Inuit is also a name for them its called Caribou Inuit, they lived southernmost of central Inuit. The Sioux tried to ambush the buffalo,bison, caribou. But in the end they both ate caribou either way. The Sioux tried to match up with Blackfoot and tried to ambush the animals, but with the Inuit they had matched up with some Indian tribes to hunt and fine caribou and bison. Souix both believe the same way. Sioux just believed that there was just one sprite which is called the “ Great spirit”, but with Inuit they believed every little thing was a sprite to a rock to a tree anything but all named the same called the ‘’Great sprite’’. Because the Sioux believed that there was only sprite they had thought it was just nature. Which Inuit believed everything has a sprite which part of that is a part of nature which that's why it is so important to their daily life. Sioux and Inuit religion is very important to their daily life. Inuit believed in atheism,the only people that were strong enough to control the sprite are the powerful religious leaders they were called in two different ways. Shammoms or Angakos. The people who were blessed were called almost like a special name they were called Shammoms and it was received from the “Great sprite”. So in the end they both believe in the same spriet just different thoughts.

Inuit weapons are called the stone knife stone knife was used for cutting meat also maybe sharpening the animals they have caught teeth.When they were fishing they would hook bait on the end of the knife and leave it there for the fish to come get it. They had also used the knife for skinning the animals with the stone knife.What the Inuit housing was like.They Inuit housing was a very cool way and unice. The house is called a igloo it was made out of ice cube and the ice were pretty big,Inuit filled the holes with soft snow that soon it will just get harder so no air will come in. Hadia housing, artwork, weapons.Haida housing environment. The Haida house were made out of trees that were very think. They were also made out of logs, there house was called a longhouse, they also called it that cause it was a big house for the time.Haidas artwork. Haida made lots of artwork . For example one thing they made was a basket and these were made out of cedar bark from a tree that's was ready to cut down. They used the basket for carrying around, so there art was not just art it help them to. Haidas weapons they used.They used a lot of weapons the main one they used was sledgehammer .A sledgehammer was used for splitting wood, also could be used if an animal is coming, was also made out of stone.

The Sioux artwork was a beautiful piece. They had made lots of work but one that stands out is quillwork, what they made out of it was gloves which had been used for cold times in the season or even hot supplies, they had also made bands which almost look like headbands. It is apart of their culture.They both had artwork put on to them which they had made by barrie juice. Sioux weapons, was a worrier sleid it was made out of toughened hide and has been painted. Another weapon that had been used was a tomahawk, it could be used for a peace offering.
